about us
Kensington Juniors Cricket Club was created to give children in Kensington, Chelsea and surrounding areas access to high-quality cricket coaching in a fun and welcoming environment.
Based in Holland Park, the club offers professional coaching for children aged 4–13, helping young players develop both their cricket skills and their confidence.
The club is run by experienced cricket coaches with a long track record of developing young players in London.
Our philosophy is built around three simple principles:
Enjoy – children should love coming to sessions
Improve – every child should develop skills
Belong – every child should feel part of the club
Why Kensington Juniors?
We are committed to delivering a high quality cricket experience in a focused and supportive environment.
-
We keep our groups intentionally small to ensure every child receives individual attention and meaningful development. Players are introduced to matches when they are ready, not rushed.
-
Sessions operate at approximately 1 coach to 4 players, and often 1 to 3 in our youngest groups, allowing for personalised coaching and faster progression.
-
Our coaches bring experience from both professional and high level recreational cricket, combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of youth development.
-
We are fully governed by Fulham Cricket Club and London County Cricket, and run in partnership with RBKC and Middlesex Cricket, ensuring a professional and well structured programme.
